AUSTRALIA — 1 October to 13 November 2027
Australia's 2027 Rugby World Cup will unfold across seven host cities, with the knockout matches including two Quarter-Finals, both Semi-Finals, the Bronze Final and Final to be played in Sydney.
The Opening Match between hosts Australia and Hong Kong China will be in Perth on 1 October. In Pool Play, New Zealand will play Chile in Perth on 2 October, take on Australia in Sydney on 9 October, and Hong Kong China in Melbourne on 18 October. New Zealand will then likely play in Brisbane in the Round of 16 on the weekend of 23–24 October, with the Pool A Quarter-Finals teams playing in Sydney on the weekend of 30–31 October.
The Semi-Finals take place in Sydney across 5–6 November, with the Final set for 13 November also in Sydney.

With the expanded format, if New Zealand progress from the pool phase into the knockout phase they need to finish among the top teams in Pool A.
Both the winner and runner-up in Pool A (New Zealand's pool) will feature in the Round of 16 games, which will both be played on the same weekend on consecutive days in Brisbane | Meeanjin.
Should New Zealand advance through the Round of 16, all New Zealand Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and the 2027 Rugby World Cup Final will be played at Stadium Australia | Wangal.
